Marin Parent Patch – Sponsorship Program

Marin Parent Patch supports lower middle-class families in Marin County who often earn too much to qualify for traditional assistance but still struggle with the county’s high cost of living. To be considered for sponsorship, applicants must meet all eligibility criteria listed below.

 

Eligibility Criteria

1. Residency

   • The applicant must reside in Marin County at the time of application.

2. Children in the Household

   • At least one child under age 13 must be living in the household and be the child for whom sponsorship is requested.

   • All children must be under age 18 to be included in household count.

3. Household Income

   • Household income must fall within the lower-middle-class range for Marin County based on household size and number of children.

   • Income includes earnings from all adults in the household.

4. Documentation
   Applicants may be asked to provide:

   • Proof of Marin County residency

   • Recent pay stubs or tax return

   • Proof of guardianship/child age
